This Privacy Policy describes how KDS Screen Enhancer handles information when used with the Club Automation KDS workflow on expo.clubautomation.com.

Overview

KDS Screen Enhancer is a Chrome extension that helps staff filter visible KDS orders, play alerts for new matching orders, and print order labels. It is designed to operate only within the supported Club Automation KDS workflow.

Information the extension processes

The extension may process the following information in order to provide its features:

  • Order-related website content already visible in the KDS workflow, such as transaction IDs, item names, modifiers, notes, timestamps, order status, and order number.
  • Names shown in the KDS workflow or returned by the configured enrichment webhook, such as customer, member, or staff names when present.
  • Enrichment data returned by the configured webhook, such as accounting group names, category names, POS name, and club name.
  • User-configured extension settings, such as filter preferences, sound settings, label width, optional custom sound URL, optional selector override, and webhook URL.

How the information is used

  • To filter and display matching KDS orders.
  • To play alerts for new matching orders.
  • To generate and print order labels.
  • To store settings and maintain a short-lived cache needed for the extension to work.
  • To show basic status or debugging information within the extension popup.

Storage and retention

The extension stores settings using Chrome extension storage so preferences persist across sessions. It may also store a temporary local cache of enrichment results and basic status/debug information to reduce repeated requests and improve reliability.

Cached enrichment entries are intended to be short-lived and are purged by the extension after their retention window expires.

Data transfer

To support filtering and label features, the extension sends transaction IDs to the configured webhook endpoint and receives enrichment data in response. In the current implementation, the default webhook host is n8n.crossgates.app.

The extension does not use remote executable code. It does not load external JavaScript or WebAssembly for its core functionality.

Data sharing and use limitations

According to the intended use of this extension:

  • User data is not sold to third parties.
  • User data is not used or transferred for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose.
  • User data is not used or transferred to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

Your choices

Operators can control extension settings through the extension popup, including filters, sound behavior, label width, and the configured webhook URL. If you no longer want the extension to process information, you can disable or uninstall it from Chrome.
